Luxury and Decadence is Delayed

The opening of the newest hotel in the Grand Hyatt chain has been rescheduled again and those involved are not only disappointed but also very secretive. The grand opening of the grand Hyatt in downtown has already been rescheduled twice, making the recent delay third time unlucky.

The opening of the 37 storey hotel is reportedly delayed because of construction related issues but the latest announcement came just hours after a media tour was lead through the hotel. Construction crews have been working around the clock in the lead up to what would have been the grand opening, but during the media tour it was clear that while some parts of the hotel were finished, other parts were very clearly not ready.

During the media involvement the construction crew were also very wary of the cameras and wanted no part in photo shoots of their unfinished project. The 100 guests who were to attend the grand opening have been accommodated at other downtown hotels and the Spurs Coyote was set to arrive in a limousine as the first VIP guest but this is also being postponed.

So what happens if the event you have hired a limousine for is delayed and you are not a VIP guest who is able to simply use your power to reschedule the hire times, nor can you simply pay for the limo hire which you can now not use? In your contract you should see the conditions and expected actions of the limo hire if you have to cancel. Some limo hire companies will give you a credit for the new date of your rescheduled event, while others may give you a discount, or refund your deposit, while applying the rest of your payment to the new event.
